In 2012, Anderson Ballard Companies was actively involved in donating and supporting many different community and world organizations. These organizations include local youth and adult sports teams and worldwide non-profit organizations including Rising Star Outreach based out of Chennai India. In an effort to eradicate leprosy in India, Rising Star Outreach provides children from leprosy affected villages the opportunity to attend school and create a better and brighter future for themselves. This last year, Anderson Ballard Companies successfully raised $25,000 to help support Rising Star Outreach's newest program: a perpetual education fund for the children from these colonies. Through this program, families can afford to send their children to school by taking out "micro-loans" of approximately $70 USD to pay for a full 12 years of education for their child. These loans are set up to be paid back to the fund over a period of time; thus creating a "perpetual education fund."
